Disk D space is decreasing day and day!

A strange thing, I found some of my co-works PC(Dell 3080) disk D space is decreasing day and day.
    OS:Windows 10 Pro
Disk D has a total of 135G space, all of files only used 9G, but the free space only 92G. I checked no hidden files, no virtual memory settings, no system restore settings, close Windows update.

The currently solution is move disk D files to disk C and format D, but I want to find the root cause.

    Do you know why?

    Thank you so much.

Hi try using Wiztree (free) to examine disk space usage.

How is D: used? What sort of files are on it?

And as a matter of routine, run a disk check- Hard Disk Sentinel is excellent- simply launch it and look at its GUI. Green is good.

You can instantle see where most of the space is used.

    Hi,

Thanks for your replied so quickly.

Disk D placed some files which user created by himself, no Windows or application files.

I will try Wiztree later and updated.

    Thank you so much.

The issue has been fixed, I found "System Volume Information" directory used many of disk space via WizTree tool, it's system recovery data, just removed and ok now.

    Thank your guys.

Do be very careful what you do with that- data within that is fundamental to the usage of your disk.
It's a system folder and hidden for a reason.
