Extremely slow shutdown-boot after clean install

Hello! A customer gave me a Lenovo Z70-80 laptop (i7-5500U, 16GB DDR3, 500GB Samsung 850 Evo, latest BIOS) to do a clean install of W10, because it was cloned a couple of years ago from the stock spinning rust to the SSD.
I of course did a secure rease on the SSD, and installed the last W10 21H2 from Microsoft's ISO (UEFI mode). I then did all the updates (version 10.0.19044.1387), and noticed that, after the blue screen with spinning balls at restart, there's a minute-minute and half long black screen, then there's the Lenovo logo with the spinning balls, around 2 minutes long, and after that there's the login screen and desktop appears. Apart from that, the laptop is lightning fast, as it should be.
I already did an extended test of the SSD (w. Parted Magic) and RAM (w. Memtestx86), both are good. I then tried to do a boot trace, and noticed that the Session Init phase is around a minute long, as are smss.dll and ntdll.dll in ther same time period. My knowledge of Windows Performance Analyzer ends here... Can someone look into the boot trace and enlighten me about this problem? Many thanks in advance,
    Federico.

Hello and welcome to TF ,
If it's enabled, I would test with it disabled: Enable or Disable Hibernate in Windows 10

Kill two birds with one stone.

    From an elevated Command Prompt, type or copy & paste the following;

    Code:
    powercfg -h off
This will disable hibernation & Fast Startup.

Fast Startup hasn't much value while using an SSD for the OS & is known to cause problems.

I know this is slightly off topic, I've just looked at what powercfg can do, it is a cool tool. Surprised me, to be honest, only reason I am mentioning it.

type: powercfg /? ,it lists all the commands and reports available.

/ENERGY gives you a report on power use, mine looks rather bad.

/BATTERYREPORT gives you just that, I have a UPS via USB, so it knows it's on or off but just that.

/SYSTEMSLEEPDIAGNOSTICS shows a load of system usage info

Anyway, I hope people find that useful.

Hello and thanks for the fast help! I already tried that, but unfortunately it doesn't change a single bit, same extremely slow restart/shutdown

Hi! Thanks for helping me! As I already wrote to Steve, zero difference with it enabled or disabled, same extremely slow resatart.

Powercfg is a great tool indeed! I already use it to diagnose some weird wake-ups from sleep (like the last one, that was caused by my network card) and for importing missing power plans in new laptops.
