Expensive Laptop Lagging and Very Slow

Hello :)

With my new laptop, I sadly have problems with the mouse cursor being laggy in some situations. And it works very slow in some situations as well.

The effect is that if I move the mouse pointer around it will suddenly stop ever approx. 5-8 seconds. Reason is unknown.

The situation is my computer (this happens at random time) randomly starts lagging. It doesn't completely freeze but It'll load extremely slow and remain in that state. The only thing you can do at this point is restart the computer because it's super slow. It's quite hard to even pull up the shut down option because due to the immense lag.

Below what i have done so far in search for solution by knowledge i get form this great forums:

I have ran the following commands and results is posted here as well.
sfc /scannow
dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
sfc /scannow
chkdsk /scan

And i have ran Tuneup.bat file , results are attached here.

- have you had this problem ever since you first had the laptop?
- when did this start?
- what happened or what did you do just before this started?

For example- I installed program x or I received an update and then....

Please create a new user for test purposes. Log in as that user and advise if the same thing happens.
If it does, return to the original user account and perform a clean boot. (Google or see tutorial if unsure how).
Does the same thing happen?

What sort of mouse are you using, and how is it connected?
Does the same thing happen if you use the touchpad?

You appear to have quite frequent fault reports (programs crashing). Could you comment on that please? Anything known?

- it does not have before
- it sarted like 2 months ago
- actually i dont know what caused this , because i was like whenever it happen i just restart it and keep using it and forget about it.But its getting worse and worse.

For example- I installed program x or I received an update and then....

there is no such thing which i can track of it.

What sort of mouse are you using, and how is it connected?
Does the same thing happen if you use the touchpad?

I am using thinkpad mouse its bluetooth, yes it does happen with trackpad as well.
ONE thing i would like to mention its not only the mouse which is lagging , the system get slower as well.

You appear to have quite frequent fault reports (programs crashing). Could you comment on that please? Anything known?

Can you please tell me which programs it is ? i am not very professional with Troubleshoting with Windows , so if you can guide me which programs is crashing and on which report you can see that so i will learn and same time try to figure it out if needed uninstall of those programs.

Thanks. One of the reports you posted listed a number of WER reports for a range of programs.

Please log in as normal. Open only the task manager.

About 3 minutes after logging in, post a screenshot of your task manager, Processes tab - thus:

Sorry ,but i still not able to figure it out which programs and which report you are talking about , sorry for my bad english , and i am not professional with Windows trouble shooting.

Please log in as normal. Open only the task manager.

yes i did , but the issue i am facing is so random that sometimes it does not appear (no matter normal user or new new user) , so i did login with new user and waited like 10 mins doing browsing , watching video's etc

That one- just open it and search for WER for example.

Good- your task manager shows no exceptional resource usage that might be related to slow performance.

Erratic problems are hard to deal with.
I suggest you try to capture screenshots of your task manager next time it happens.

Looks like symptoms of drive failure. Please back up and prepare to replace the drive.

Well, before that, establish the facts.

Ok, get a copy of Hard Disk Sentinel and run that. Excellent, applies to SSDs too.

But advice on backing up is always applicable.
You usually can't usefully image a failing drive.

as far as my limited knowledge i think reports suggest HDD are good , but need expert opinion on it.

For backing up drive as whole image , which software is best and your recomendation?|

@RJARRRPCGP Thanks for your reply , i have ran Hard Disk Sentinel random seek test and attached [B]Text Report[/B] & ScreenShot Report with this post. as suggested by one of the expert in the same thread , if you have time please take a look on reports and suggest me do i really need to replace the HDD , because as i mentioned in my opening post i just bought this laptop few months ago. So its surprize me HDD get bad so quick.

As you say, I wouldn't have expected this to be drive failure, but as

- best to simply eliminate that.

I've suggested

you try to capture screenshots of your task manager next time it happens.

Also after that period of lag, check your Reliabilty History and explore any red x's around that time.

Could be some task suddenly triggers a burst of activity...

If you wish, you can also run some stress tests (Google), and also try
Enable and Disable Driver Verifier in Windows 10

As for backups, tenforums members endlessly and repetitively recommend the routine and regular use of disk imaging (Google that to find out what it is).

This means you both have a full backup of potentially several different dates and can restore your full working environment and O/S even if you need to replace your disk(s).

Tools: program e.g. Macrium Reflect (free/paid) is reckoned best in class + large enough external disk (1-2Tb say) for image files,
Store that disk separately and securely and you're safe even if your PC is stolen.

Then for fast moving key data use some form of scheduled or synchronised backup e.g. O&O Autobackup (not free) but less intrusive with notifications: Aomei Backupper (free/paid - free includes incremental imaging and file backup)
