I am trying to get into the BIOS configuration, but the advanced startup options are unavailable in Windows 10 Pro. There is supposed to be a number of options like Windows Image Recovery and the ability to enter UEFI BIOS. How do I enable those?
This Windows came pre installed, so I'm suspecting the factory set policies that lock out some functions. How to enable them?

For your immediate need to get into BIOS, try "shutdown /r /fw" from admin powershell and tell me if it works.
Is your BIOS in UEFI mode?

Reboot the computer, and start gently spamming the DEL key.
That will get you into the BIOS on an ASUS motherboard.
Here's what happens when I enter that command:
PS C:\windows\system32> shutdown /r /fw
Boot to firmware UI is not supported by this system's firmware.(1)
PS C:\windows\system32>
I tried repeatedly pressing DEL key and startup, but it just goes to Windows every time. Never see a BIOS splash screen like older PCs. This is a fanless industrial PC from Kingdel. Just got it Monday and set up a server. But can't get into the BIOS for some reason. Behaves like UEFI with no splash screen and ignoring the DEL key at bootup.
Shouldn't there be at least some recovery options like restore system image and a couple of other troubleshooting options?

1 Have you turned off Fast start?

This should make the computer maker's splash screen appear during bootup and give you the time to start tapping the relevant key to get into its Bios/UEFI or the relevant key to get into its Boot options menu.
The relevant keys should be identified in the computer manual & on the maker's support site. They might also be identified onscreen while the splash screen is displayed.

Your current system is on a Legacy -MBR configuration. That is why it doesn't show a UEFI option.
Windows Fast start is preventing you to enter BIOS during POST. You may also have a BIOS Fast Boot set that doesn't load USB BIOS drivers. In this case, you may need to do a CMOS (BIOS) reset.
Check Windows Disk Management .... if no EFI partition, another confirmation they system is MBR/legacy vs EFI.
The PC has a System Reserved partition that's 50MB. Is that the UEFI partition?
I did manage to get into BIOS this time. Apparently, there is zero delay from power on (unlike every other PC I own), so I had to start pressing DEL the instant I hit power button. If I wait even 1 second, it starts booting Windows. My other PCs are UEFI and there's about 5-8 seconds of black screen before Windows shows signs of booting. This industrial PC lacks that delay.
BIOS does have a "UEFI and Legacy" option, which is selected. I could change to "UEFI only" but I recall there's a process necessary to change Windows boot loader.
But more concerning is there's no boot menu that lets me prioritize a USB drive for recovery purposes.
On my other Windows machines, I can boot to a recovery menu. There are six choices on that menu, one of which is choose image recovery. Is that missing because Windows is configured for "fast boot"?
This PC came with zero documentation. The manufacturer's website has nothing either!
