This is the most Puzzling and coolest bug. I have never encountered...

On the other hand, one can start to feel trolled at some point.

Seriousely, If I had the $, I'd take the covid test and an airplane right to your house, just to see that...

Every one hold their breath, I turned off "Let apps run in the background" and I did not get the alarm at its' scheduled time, but I am in a "wait and see" state for now and will do some more testing which will probably take at least a week.

Hey, we are talking MS Windows here and they know how to access BIOS and BIOS is up and running as long as it has power.

This is sounding more and more like one of the hidden joys of a machine that has Modern Standby. You can confirm or eliminate that possibility by checking if your machine has Modern Standby with this tutorial.

On any Modern Standby system (whether connected or disconnected), the system remains in S0 while in standby, allowing the following scenarios to work:

    • Background activity
    • Faster resume from a low power state

On systems that are connected while in standby, wakes based on specific network patterns may also be set by the operating system to enable apps to receive the latest content such as incoming email, VoIP calls, or news articles.
