If you can make a recording with your phone and upload it to imgur.com and post link here, that might be useful. Definitely intriguing that it's happening with the PC off.

There isn't anything special about it, it is just a beep.

But you can control the volume. and it's every time 3 min past the hour...

I know it's just a beep... But... Roadrunner beep's in it's own special way... and someone who already eared it... Will recognize it right away... Even more if he searched like you before he finds the source. As dumb as it "sounds" It could really help for us to ear it too.

I wont ask you if you tried a clean boot, Since it's doing it powered off...

It's been often caused by Bluetooth devices, But the computer is off...

Windows sounds are turned off also, I presume...



Also this wav is used by many mail / chat /instant messaging software.
