3min delay when booting at windows blue logo

    I don't see any delay in the boot trace !
    Maybe the delay happens during the Bios phase, not recorded by the trace.

    Shrugs, your not left with much to chew on. I always tough this was related to SATA / AHCI or Video drivers. And finally dropped to something in the API / HAL layers and my brain disconnected.

    I converted my disks from MBR to GPT, rebuilt the windows boot loader, and enabled Secure Boot... no joy

    I am still using my original windows install. I had to wipe out the boot manager since I converted my windows drive from mbr to gpt.

    I have tried booting windows via a flash drive and ubuntu as well. Both result in quick boot times. Is there a way to troubleshoot boot manager delays?
