As there are two posts on the Dell forum of the same issue, I would be surprised if the new box fixes it. Probably a "global" problem but as most of this model is ordered with separate video card and except for a few like you no one would be removing the separate video card. Thus on a handful of users with the issue.
    Hi Fireberd...
Quick and final update. The PC works with LG Displays but not with the Philips Displays I have tried. This does seem to be a compatibility issue but is it down to DELL, Philips or both who knows?? I am happy with this PC now that it has had its nvidia card removed and is connected to LG Display. The music apps run fine now and with the LG monitor it boots fine too.
Thanks for all your help - cheers

Thanks for getting back to me.

Are the LG's Display Port? (that is reported as working on the Dell forums).

No, HDMI. I also just tried a 4K LG TV HDMI today and that works fine too. My issue with this seems to be a DELL-Philips incompatibility. (btw other PCs work fine with the same philips tV in case I hadn't mentioned before.)

    Thanks for the clarification.
There are different levels of HDMI, maybe that's causing the conflict??

As this is "solved", please mark as solved.
