    System Monitoring

    Quick question good people,
Can anyone offer any insight to a good monitoring tool to view pc temperature, fan speed, drive info, etc...... I had one before I bought this PC and my other one crashed, ( it was 15 years old though ), but low and behold I forgot what it was called. Any help is indeed appreciated. Thank you in advance. I am running WINDOWS 10 Home, all specs are in my profile.

Hi, this, for example (free for home use)
Free Download HWiNFO Sofware | Installer & Portable for Windows, DOS

whilst if you wish to be alerted by various means about your disk status based on SMART params, try Crystal Disinfo (free), which you can configure to do that.

all specs are in my profile.
    - except, I think, your Win 10 build...

I use AIDA64 Extreme it's not free-software, but it is a system information tool, which not only provides extremely detailed information about both hardware and installed software, but also helps users diagnose issues and offers benchmarks to measure the performance of the computer.

I'm a big fan of Helmut Buhler's 8GadgetPack and use it with CPU and temp elements, as well as networking, restart/reboot and clock items, to wit:

Notice the CPU temps in CPU monitor come from running Core Temp and linking it into this gadget. Great stuff. Use it (literally) ALL the TIME!
