defrag issue

    defrag issue


    Windows 10 [64K] defrag shows that C is ok but that that the system hard drive needs defragmentation:

    The optimize button doesn't correct anything for the system drive. Counsel anyone?

    Is your drive a HDD or SSD?

    System drive is a read only and have some booting files. Leave it as it is.

    HDD -- older Lenovo desktop. Does this reading on the system drive reflect pending failure?

    All by itself, no but that shouldn't stop you from checking drive's health.

I'm using Auslogic Disk Defrag 9 I have an M2 SSD and have set 'Use only SSD defragmentation' and 'Use the TRIM feature' The analysis shows the drive as 17% defragmented but when I run the optimisation it finishes OK but the still shows 17%...

My secondary drive in my system is a 2TB standard hard drive. Windows 10 defrag (both UI and the command line) tells me that I do not need to defrag the disk, as it is "0% fragmented" but upon delving a little further (adding the /V switch) I notice...
Should I defrag my SSD and or Harddrive? my windows 10 is on my SSD and I have a few games on my SSD and majority of random games and files are on my HDD. I heard it's bad to defrag a SSD
