Will adding RAM will help to speed up my PC?

Rule of thumb size: 50 to 60 percent of the sum of the occupied space on whatever partitions are included in the image.

Your C is about 100?

Figure 50 to 60 for the image. You'd want to include ALL partitions on that drive, not just C.

Normally...I'd save it wherever you normally would save an important file....likely on your old 1 TB drive.....AND THEN back it up to the external. So you'd have 2 copies of the image file.

You could use differentials if you want, but there's no over-riding reason to do so. You can just make periodic full images....perhaps monthly. Keep as many as you like....typically 2 or 3.

You can make a full image in about 7 or 8 mouse clicks, accepting defaults.

Restoration is more complicated, but worry about that AFTER you make the image.

1. Install the program
2. Delete the System, the G: and the HP Recovery partitions.
3. Then in EaseUS, just right click on the F: partition and choose: Resize
4. Resize to the left, and click apply, etc. then do it again to the right.

Or you can do both at once, left and right.

Is it only possible to combined volumes with 3rd party software?

Never used Easus for that purpose, but "combining" volumes is terminology I wouldn't expect.

More often its resize or delete.

You can do it to an extent with Windows Disk Management but it has the limitation that you cannot extend a partition into unallocated space IF there is an intervening partition as shown in Disk Management.

For instance, suppose Disk Management shows, left to right:

C D Unallocated space.

You could extend D, but not C.

You can't extend C because D is in the way.

Minitool Partition Wizard and other apps do NOT have that limitation.

Yes....with the understanding that if you make a mistake or have a power outage or god knows what, you could be in a bind.

Which of course means you should have everything on F backed up somewhere BEFORE you begin.

You are NOT combining.

You are deleting or resizing or extending or even moving.

Ok understood. I was actually thinking should I buy a new external hard drive or should I start using paid cloud services for storage. My current external hard drive is about 10 years as well. This all sounds found I was actually very busy for last 10 years with my school and work finally got some time to cleanup all of these PC issues. So what would you recommend I should get external hard drive or any cheap cloud storages would be better option? It seems like with hard drive I would need to replace them every 5 years more or less.

Personally..........I don't want the cloud. For reasons of speed, privacy, and reliance on an Internet connection.

I want local only.

Internal 1 TB drive: ALL data, including images.

External: A second copy of EVERYTHING on the internal 1 TB.

Sorry I might have missed to answer that. So basically it’s a new SSD which is 500gb, Old HDD 1TB, and Old external hard drive 2TB. External HDD and internal HDD are about 10 years old. That’s why I am a little worried to keep using and relaying on those two even though they work fine . I gotta at least move my pictures to a new “fresh”drive I think. That’s why I am thinking to buy.
