This morning I downloaded and Microsoft immediately installed "Windows Performance Analyzer" on my laptop to see how well my system is behaving on startup. The problem is that I do not know how to use it. Something produces ETFs that the analyzer reports on, but I don't know what.
Perhaps someone can elucidate me on this application.

Hi, if you search tenforums for WPA or Windows Performance Analyzer you will find various threads where examples exist of its settings and screenshots.
Only @zinou is familiar with this as far as I know.

I have done that and did it again using differing search terms. And yes there are relatively older threads that contain links to Microsoft's SDK installation. I downloaded and installed these files and found them not to be of use to me. I just want Windows Performance Analyzer to work and that is all I really want to work. It seems like a simple request, but from what I have seen, it is not as straightforward as I would like. And maybe that is just the way it has to be; that I have to install software I really don't want just to get WPA to work.
As it turns out, it appears the Windows Performance Recorder is all I need to install, but I still don't know when I'm supposed to run this tool. The tool works, but as I said when do I run it?
EDIT: I have since figured out how and when to run the WPR tool and it saves information that is used by WPA for user analysis. At this point, I have the information I wanted and have no further questions.
