It can be the Power supply, MB or CPU.
I had a Z87 MB that began to restart randomly, went getting worst then it did no start. I replaced the MB and never happen again.
In my wife's computer I've replaced the PS twice.
If you have a spare PS give it a try.
    Hi,

BIB, why--I mean I know you have had to--but why?

EVGA Bronze Plus 500 WATT PSU.

BTW, Newegg has a nice tool to calculate how big of a PSU you need. I calculated that I need about 375 Watt PSU.

Edit to add: The EVGA is the new PSU. The tech did not think the Antec PSU was very good.

What brand was the failed one?

I've had great luck with my Antec that I purchased back in Oct 2011. Still in my tower that I'm typing from now.

Antec Earthwatts 650w Green ATX12v v2.4 SLI 80 Plus Bronze

But I also routinely clean the tower out every ~3 months and have all the intakes covered with 'dry' Swiffer dust sheets to catch the bulk of inbound dust.

The failed Power supply was an ANTEC HCG M Series HCG-620M ATX12V. It was 80 Bronze Certified as well. I purchased it in 2015.

I should clean the PC more often. I do have it elevated on a small stool I made so it is not on the ground but it still gets dusty. When you say you cover the intakes with Dry Swiffer sheets... are you talking about the fans intakes?

Yes, I cover the intakes on the front of the case as well as the side/s. Anywhere air goes in. They (dry sheets) work great at stopping 90+ percent of the dust.
