Desktop failing to sleep

I miss getting MoUsoCoreWorker.exe once in a while. At least it's easy to deal with. I haven't figured out how to deal with this preventing sleep:

If you get MoUsoCoreWorker preventing sleep, it might be interesting to let the PC sit for say an hour untouched and see if it eventually goes to sleep. I'll have to try the same myself if it happens on one of my own PCs.

I suppose the backup schedule is permanently forcing the PC to not sleep and you have to override it in this case - and maybe create a Task Scheduler to wake up the PC once a day or whatever you decide for the backup to be able to do its work. I don't use a scheduled backup, so maybe someone else can share their experience with that.

Does the Acronis output in powercfg ever go away and let the PC go to sleep? As in maybe the output you captured was while it was making a backup?

Thanks but I have already participated in another thread in these forums regarding this problem. I have found no solution here, on Acronis's own forums, or with Acronis support.

I only mentioned this to emphasize that MoUsoCoreWorker.exe preventing sleep was only a minor annoyance to me since it only happened a few times a year. I have to content with Acronis preventing sleep every day.

On this subject of sleep, there are times when I want my PC to sleep immediately because I know I won't be using it before the sleep timer expires, so rather then the Ctlr-Alt-Del .....click mouse route or other multiple click routes, I just created a taskbar shortcut to manually run the command line sleep command. Also assigned one of my programmable keyboard buttons to do the same. Of course I wouldn't use these methods if I can sense the PC is doing an update, defrag, etc.
