    SFC Ends At One Percent

    Windows 10 Enterprise x64 20H2 Build 19042.804
    Intel DH67GD
    Intel Core i7-3770
    EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
    Samsung SSD 860 PRO 512GB
    32GB System RAM

    Recently ran SFC to check on things, and it ended itself at 1%.

    This has never happened to me, as SFC has always ran its course to 100%, and then reported any errors it may have found.

    I have collected the CBS log, and a screen shot, and have attached those to this post.

    To be honest, nothing was even wrong with my system, I just hadn’t run SFC in a while, and took a stab at it. Glad I did, as this shows me something needs addressed.

    Any help?

    Thanks.

    The verifications in the CBS.log ends abruptly with this error being reported:
    Code:
    2021-02-13 15:03:03, Error                 CSI    0000000e@2021/2/13:20:03:03.210 (F) onecore\base\wcp\sil\ntsystem.cpp(3044): Error STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND originated in function Windows::Rtl::SystemImplementation::DirectFileSystemProvider::SysCreateFile expression: (null)

    When SFC reports that it cannot fix an error the next step is to run DISM's RestoreHealth command, then try SFC again.

    When I documented this fix sequence, a member of the Windows Insider team contacted me with this input: "On Win10 it's recommended to run DISM [... /restorehealth] first." He also provided an MS Support link that states this explicitly entitled “Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files."
