Windows 10 Fast startup not working. Still slow boot and reset Up Time

Hi. I have Turn on fast startup option turned on with registry and gpedit, so It cannot disabled by unticking the option. More here.

The problem is, my laptop (MSI GF63 9RCX) with 970 evo plus is slow on boot. Before this problem happened, the laptop tooks 10-12 seconds to completely boot. When this problem occur, it tooks 20+ seconds to completely boot.

Secondly, the "Up Time" on Performance -> CPU on task manager is back to 0:00:00:00 when I turn on the laptop after shutdown. Usually this happen after restarting not shutdown.

I can't tell when and why this is happening. Can anyone help me with this. Because every second is worth the time for me.

Apologize for my english. If anyone doesn't understand, please let me know.

Hi, as you have a SSD, fast startup is not really needed- that makes a difference with HDDs.

I've not read you link about fast startup problems, but I suggest you reverse any related hacks/fixes/settings as best you can, then disable hibernation (and so also fast startup):
Enable or Disable Hibernate in Windows 10

Analysing slow boot issues can be done using the Windows Performance Recorder, free from MS.
This is a technical tool, which requires appropriate configuration when creating traces. The outcome is presented graphically. Non trivial. Only one user here is familiar with this - you can find example threads by searching tenforums for

    Windows Performance Recorder

    Basics: Have you..
    - checked your disk? E.g. Crystal Diskinfo, Hard Disk Sentinel (SSDs too)- excellent
    - run
    chkdsk c: /scan
    from and admin command prompt
    - similarly run
    SFC /SCANNOW
    ?
    Advise outcome.

Also try a clean boot for comparison. Google or see tutorial if unsure.

Did this problem start after any particular event such as a Win 10 upgrade?

Your laptop appears to be from around 2018-2020 depending on model number.
    Latest BIOS is

    Drivers:
    MSI Global

Noted those incude Intel Rapid Storage Technology - do you really need that?

Thank you for your answer but I did everything you mention. But still no change.
    I have latest BIOS also.

Speaking of "reverse any related hacks", one thing that I did after doing clean windows installation is debloat it with this ps1 (line 1154) file. So I basically re-run the ps1 with hibernation enabled, but still no outcome. What's wrong then?

Speaking of Intel RST, I really don't know if my system need that or not in this particular case.

I can't comment on the outcome of hacking the O/S with someone's script.

    Assuming

    -you now have hibernation disabled
    - the outcome of the commands was successful
    - you have tried a clean boot

You have at least the following options:
    - remove the IRST driver (has been known to cause issues)
    - perform an in-place upgrade repair install (tutorial available if needed) - keeps all progs and data
    - use the analysis tool I mentioned

    I also asked:

I think the problem start after I ran the script. Like I mention it, I re-run the script with "hibernation enabled" before it's disabled.

I await your decision on the options I've given and their outcome. Good luck.
