    Horizontal Lines

    Hi,

Sorry if its in the wrong place.

I've recently upgraded my SSDs, and noticed since reinstalling windows and all the drivers I keep getting some blinking horizontal lines usually when browsing the internet, I've not noticed any yet while gaming (but I've only just noticed it today, so I've not testing it for long).

    I'm using Windows 10 Pro (20H2)

Update - I’ve noticed the lines seem to be on the bottom half of the screen, usually when I move my mouse around going over images.

    Thanks for any help.

    DDU Instructions - AMD
    1. Get this program, here: Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) | Wagnardsoft ...get the latest version, and save it to your desktop.
    2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download ...save this to your desktop.
    Unhook the internet completely.
    3. Reboot into Safe Mode and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you.
    4. After it's done, reboot to normal mode, then just double click the AMD driver to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.
    Rehook the internet.

Thanks, I'll install a earlier version of my Graphics drivers as I'm using the latest version : 20.12.1

When I installed my components back I used this screwdriver set would it be fine using it as there magnetic screwdrivers?

ORIA Precision Screwdriver Set, 49 in 1 Electronics Repair Tool Kit, Precision Screwdriver Kit with 48 S2 Tool Steel Driver Bit, Aluminum Handle, for Repair PC, Phone, Watches, Laptop, MacBook, iPad: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools

Also I did a stress test and the results are below.

Try using the built in GPU on the motherboard since you may have a hardware fault with the RX 5700 XT GPU or a driver problem.

Hi there, another option to investigate (since you noticed these lines while browsing) is to turn off hardware acceleration (or turn it on, depending on current setting) in your browser.
Also if you are using FreeSync (I think that is the AMD version of G-Sync) turn that off or on depending on current setting.
Try one thing, then the other to see if it makes a difference.
