Thanks for the suggestion and link Megahertz. I double checked my specific model Lenovo G575 Type 4383 and you are right, it can support 8 Gbt Ram (1 slot). So I am tempted to upgrade!

Lenovo G575 4383 specs and prices. Lenovo G575 4383 comparison with rivals

Thank you everyone for your help and support!

    Kind regards
    Chris

To answer the original question "Should I increase Page File To Make Win 10 Faster?". If my experience is anything to go by, then tweaking the pagefile settings will have no effect on the apparent speed of the system.

My System One in my specs below has 4GB. Before I switched to Macrium Reflect I used to use Backup & Restore to make system images, because the pagefile was included in the backup I turned it off before making the image so the backup would be smaller.

Sometimes I would forget to turn it back on. It made no noticeable difference to the performance.

If you can afford it, an SSD plus more RAM would speed things up no end. If you can only afford one, I'd go for the SSD first.

The only thing I can think of to add is that some programs will look for the swapfile/paging file/Virtual Memory during their install so a small one at 2GB or Windows-managed may be necessary. With Win7 and earlier I'd set it at the written recommendation [in Help and Support] and max and min the same, with Win10 I just maximize the RAM on Notebooks and 8GB or 16GB on Desktops. I have only 1 older Notebook that has a 4GB limit unless one counts an old Toshiba Satellite with MS-DOS 6 and Win3.1 with less than 400MB.
