New Desktop, running slower then 10 year old laptop
I have a year old PC that was running amazing, up until about a week ago when I started getting a ton of BSOD... I think I have overall resolved that issue, BUT the computer is running very slowly now.
For instance from the windows login screen, entering PIN to loading into the desktop, it takes about 4 minutes... This used to take about 5 seconds. Another example, when I put my VR headset on it used to load into the VR environment in about 10 to 15 seconds, today 4 minutes of waiting and it finally blue screened on me. I am going to try to reinstall the software and am hoping that will fix it.. The boot before then the environment took about 8 minutes to load into and it was running at about 5 fps... Opening any windows app takes about 45 seconds, closing it can take as long as a minute...
Only thing I can think of is when I was fixing the BSOD I went into msconfig and disabled all the non Microsoft services at start and was never really able to figure out how to get that list back. I went ahead and reinstalled the CPU drivers and the GPU drivers but they have not had any effect in the overall speed of the desktop....
Any help would be appreciated.. Here is a basic hardware list
Desktop
ryzen 7 3800
MSI Carbon gaming pro x570
64 gigs ram
2080 TI
Windows 10
