W10 slow boot and poor performance

Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your time and dedication.

Originally, my problem is stated in the title.
I've been stuck with this for months. Recently I found this forum and tried to fix it for 264542th time (not kidding, just exaggerating) by following steps given in here in other posts showed with the same problems. I tried many things that I already think I tried everything (but clean install). I don't know how to start so I prefer to start over if it is necessary.
Few things I remember trying recently:
    - Cleaning temp files and other stuff, several times
    - Full scan for viruses/malware/adware etc., several times
    - Upgrading of every driver to the last version
    - Cleaning startup (to almost nothing left)
    - Changing paging file to every option possible
    - Turning on/off fast boot
    - Turning on/off use of sysmain service (since I have an HDD I'm surprised I didn't notice any difference without superfetch)
    - Repairing prefetch by following Zinou steps (I don't think the .etl file recorded from this is complete).

This was the last thing I did until I saw the Driver verifier tool that W10 has and following those steps in these forums I tried to turn on to see if I could detect anything. Since that, I only have BSOD after rebooting and can't boot at all with some violation on wdf01000.sys.

Right now, windows finally let me perform a system restore to a point from yesterday (the only one I have) which is taken too long. I'll wait, anyway, a few hours if it's needed.

I forgot to comment it, my first guess was that my HDD is not working properly anymore so i used Crystal disk info and crystal disk mark to check it and it's healthy. Also, when I reached this forum I tried Seagate tool today and passed the test.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of tweaks I tried in the past but none of them improve the performance or the boot a bit.

By the way, I'm running dual boot with Ubuntu in different partitions which I read this isn't supposed to affect W10.

For now, I'm just restoring the system while I'm writing this from mobile. I'll let you know when it finishes for having a W10 usable again.

    Regards.

Over 5 minutes usually for a complete boot. Explorer.exe included, that it takes a lot to open as well

    Welcome to Ten forums Eoligan.

There are some procedures to add to your list. Or you did them and forgot...

    - Do a clean start - to check if any third party service or software is causing your long boot. And report if it affect your boot time.

    tenforums tutorials | perform-clean-boot-windows-10-troubleshoot-software-conflicts

    - Create a new User to test the same as the above.

And I'm sure you already checked system with sfc /scannow?

Tracing boot, like zinou suggested above will also help

Add Turn off Google,OneDrive, Norton Backup or any other syncing program.
Open Task scheduler and check for defrag or chkdisk in the schedule .
Also look for any out of date programs Like Ati catalyst that might be there

Yes, I will, but in the past I had problems with dropped events. Hopefully this time is going well.

    - I already did a clean start and nothing changed. Even in safe mode it's still slow but less.
    - I did not do a new user. I'll try after the trace.
    - And yes, I scanned with sfc and 0 problems, also I used DISM tool.

I will deactivate anything related. In the past I did this too but not completely. Does Windows Defender count as a Syncing program?

    No that you can leave.
Some syncing program can bog down when the hit a corrupted file. I have
seen One drive try to sync 1 file and keep trying slowing the system down to nothing.

    Here is the trace:

    Sergio - TransferNow

At least I can say that all the things I've done lately have improved enough my pc to not have any dropped events in the trace. Months ago this was impossible.

I'm on it. I was on the process of the trace already, sorry. I guess you are right this could affect and I should have done it previously, but I don't think I have many tasks left anyway.

I didn't notice something particularly faster, maybe it loaded faster but nothing that couldn't be appreciated.

Sadly, I couldn't notice any improvement, maybe explorer loads a bit faster, I guess it's lighter. What I noticed is that when I went to my actual user, explorer loaded really fast, even with the programs I don't have in the new user.

Try to uninstall Nvidia drivers, and install them later again.

Also, do you have Windows defender scheduled to scan on every boot?
