    Thank you everybody!
Actually, the chkdsk (/f /r) is still running since this morning ('bout 5h already), and staying at 4%
    "3692175 di 78110998 completati. Fase: 4%, totale: 4%, ETA: 112:51:38"
as you can see now the ETA has risen to 112h.
So then, I think I'll stop the chkdsk and throw the HDD, I was just hoping that a full format and chkdsk would make it almost "new", apart for the physical damaged sectors (supposing these to be just a few, over a 320GB...). No way.
About my Win version, this laptop is indeed "old", it had win7 on it on this very HDD, so an IT technician suggested me to change to SSD and mount win10, this is the version he has put, I'm still updating it as I got it few days ago and my priority was to have the old HDD ready for job data (so no, I can't no more use this dying HDD).
    Thank you all!

    All the best!

@ZioJack, an old dying disk, without any data, doesn't worth the time you spent.
HDDs are dead tech. If you want a backup drive, buy a SSD. If you have a SATA to USB case you can use a 2,5" SSD or buy a USB external SSD drive.
