New laptop, only 4G RAM, slow -- How to improve Performance

    I have a 6 year old, i5, 4G Ram, outdated intel processor and has no slow issue. I might recommend you perform "Disk Clean-up" which has 3 processes, then "Restart," and do "Disk Cleanup" again. Come back and perform "Defrag Hard Drive." Then make sure you clear all your "Cache." Do this periodically, especially after doing any MS updates or upgrading. You computer will run nicely.

    My wife uses the old Dell, and all my other laptops listed below are Win 10, Ver 2004 and they are NOT slow by any means.

    Uninstall any programs that are unimportant.

    Looking at those specs you shouldn't be having problems with conferencing or standard web stuff, our work laptops only come with 4gig ram and SSD and Teams and Skype run perfectly well on them.
