Ubuntu from USB disk runs seemingly fine to me.
You stated "I went into BIOS and pressed F5 to reset to optimized Defaults" which may be too agressive. Looking at your CPU-Z Memory screen shot, the command rate of 1T may be the problem - I think 2T may fix the problem. Go back into the BIOS and reset to a normal, not optimized, value.
