    DISM Question - Silly question


    Hi

    Since I restored my notebook yesterday I decided to just run the sfc /scannow and the dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

    sfc /scannow runs fine and as expected nothing wrong,

    when running "dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth" it just shows the version then nothing, no progress bar..

    Looking at the log it appears that it is actually running and doing something just not showing me, or am I reading this wrong.. I cancelled the operation but do you agree it was running just not showing the progress bar and would have notified me it had completed?

    When I tried it the other day on v2004 it worked perfect and showed a progress bar..

    The log results may have additional info for troubleshooting.

    What had happened that you performed a system restore?

    What troubleshooting was done with 2004?

    How do I run the last one, sorry :)

    I had issues with very slow start up anx shutdown 5 min plus which I have read is a known issue so I went back to v1909 with a Macrium image and it runs perfect

    Well, turned on today and tried the "restorehealth" option, thought about it for a while and it is now working :)

    Must have been and "off day" yesterday lol

    Very strange, normally I run it with certain capitals [ old school ] and never have a problem . . .
