Try testing with all browser extensions turned off.

I can see that the upload and PING is almost the same to all browsers. As you're downloading, you have to consider the security applied by the browser and antivirus.

Try to download a real file on all browsers (Like Kyhi Tools )

Thanks, it helped a lot with Edge which was my main concern but I have no Extensions installed in FF. I have deleted Chrome as I only used that for tests.

I downloaded the file you mentioned in Edge but didn't know what to do with it! Do I time how long the download takes in each Browser or something else?

Kyhi Tools is a good tool to have on a USB drive.

Yes the suggestion is to download on each browser and measure the time it takes to download. As you have a very fast internet, it will take only some seconds.

In FF it took 80 seconds and in Edge it took 93 seconds, is that what you would expect?

    They are quite equal.
    Kyhi tools is ~1200MB or 1200*8 = 9600 Mb

    So on Edge 9600/80 = 120 MB/s
    On Firefox 9600/90 =103 Mb/s

Remember that if you repeat the downloads you may get completely different results due to different traffic conditions.

My DSL is rated at 100Mbps. The ATT line test to my house, up until April of this year, was anywhere from 102-108Mbps. The ATT website that would allow me to do self line test has all been changed and can't do that anymore. Sometime, I will call their tech support and see if they have have a new website I can do the test. I use EDGE only and depending on time of day using the same server, which is usually the best, it can be anywhere from 55Mbps to 92Mbps. Out of the 10+ servers to select to run my test, there are only 2 that give me the best results, depending on time of day traffic to that server.....lets say. The other servers I select, won't go above 55Mbps at any given time.

From what I understand, when one is surfing/searching, it will seek the fast path at that time. It all depends on traffic??

My test is on my 2 year old DELL i5, 8GB, via Wi-Fi
