    My energy meter sections are always empty. I've never bothered to investigate the topic.

    OMG it started again... Plugged in overnight, the laptop turned on at 12:18am, then went into a connected standby state. Found it sitting with just the screen off, idling warm in the morning.

    Since our last conversation, the laptop has upgraded to Windows 10 2004, which is the only means I can think of Connected Standby being re-enabled?

    Here is what kicked off the restart (using the system log viewer)

    Scheduled restarts are turned off. Nonetheless:

    How can this not be a major problem for literally everyone with the C940?!

    EDIT: I just implemented this fix to try and stop reboots How to permanently stop Windows 10 reboots after installing updates

    Mike,

    Many things can get changed when you do a version update. Everything has to be checked afterwards.

    All I can suggest is repeating the procedure you did before - Add or Remove Networking connectivity in Standby from Power Options - TenForumsTutorials

Tablet battery drain

I have Dell tablet, and with Windows 8 the battery was fine, after upgrading and doing a clean install of Windows 10,the battery drain has been terrible. I left my tablet docked to its keyboard (which also supplies extra battery to my tablet)...
