This is the program I have ran for years. This is how I found out about the overheating HDDs.
There is 6HDDs that are over heating. They are the MM2 drive, and the enclosed case external drives. such as the WD easy store.
Here is some of the images. I lost track of what ones I was doing. The results are similar with the other similar drives Looks like I may of had a dulplicate picture

Did safe mode, finally. Had issues with keyboard not recognizing, did a different USB port....

They were still running hot , with no activity on HDDs. some went up and I monitored activity.
There was very little or none. A little on main HDD that is understandable.

    More troubleshooting steps.
    Turned off PC.
    Checked power adapters (everything fine)
Noticed that the HDDs that were plugged into USB hubs stayed spinning while everything was off.
Have 2 USB hubs for the external HDDs. They are non powered hubs but seem to stay active and powered from motherboard.'
This could be the cause of the issue , spinning even while down and powered off .

All USB ports have power when power is off.
    Checked all ports.
Currently testing one of the drives without being hooked to any hub to see if it changes.
Looks like USB hub VS USB direct does not matter. Temp still stays high
