    c) any drive encryption software

Make sure images are posted for all steps / tests.

    These are preliminary steps /tests.

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow

    5) sfc /scannow
    6) chkdsk /scan
    7) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
    8) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
    9) wmic recoveros get autoreboot

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot

Have you considered an in-place upgrade repair install as post #2?
Did you ever did a win 10 clean install after the Win 8 to win 10 upgrade?

I think is time for a in-place upgrade Repair Install as dalchina suggested.

Avoid Win 10 2004. If you don't have Win 10 1909 use Heidoc Windows-ISO-Downloader tool

    Greetings!

I tried to do an Inplace as suggested by dalchina and after a long time the system returned to me that there was an error in the inslation.
I restarted and the system returned to me with the Windows installation screen with the following error ...

Problems with SFC, Dism and Windows Update-anotacao-2020-06-29-145822.png

    Could not install Windows 10
The computer has been set to the state before Windows 10 installation started.

    0x80004005 - 0x 1000A

The installation failed in the DOWLEVEL phase with an error during the PREPARE_FIRST_BOOT operation

I had not seen the forum after four in the morning, I read it now, I will try the procedures suggested by zbook, this or format and give error in the clean installation or any error that may still occur. I'm unlucky. : /

The above error is seen with antivirus software.

Please do not attempt upgrades until the preliminary steps in post #21 are completed.

You have a logical disk issue.
You have to fix it first.

Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
    chkdsk c: /f
It will say that the disk is in use and if you want to schedule to next start = Yes
    Restart.

Run Memtest86 version 8.4 (or newer version if available) for four passes.
Repeat the test so that eight passes are performed.

Open a CMD window as administrator and type:

For disk management > see instructions and tutorial
    a) widen each column as necessary so that the contents in the parenthesis are not cutoff
    b) widen row disk 0 as necessary so characters are not cutoff

For Memtest86 > when available post the second test result images

Were the RAM modules replaced at any time?

Update the progress with each step.

    When the steps are completed:
    1) find a flash drive that you can format (> or = 8 GB)

    2) create a bootable windows 10 iso 2004
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10
    Download Windows 10 ISO File
Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

    3) download windows 10 iso 1909 to the desktop
    http://windowsiso.net
Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool
    TechBench by WZT (v4.1.1)
    UUP dump

    4) make a free backup image using Macrium:
Macrium Software | Your Image is Everything
Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

    5) Make sure that Avast is uninstalled and Microsoft defender is on

    6) Place the computer in clean boot:
Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts

    7) Perform an in place upgrade repair with Windows 10 2004 while in clean boot

    8) Select not to allow updates during the upgrade

    9) Make sure Wifi and ethernet are disconnected during the next upgrade attempt

    10) For any upgrade failure:
    a) post a new V2
    b) post results using the powershell command
