Please make sure you post a screenshot of your task manager a few minutes after logging in (when startups have been loaded).

It's inevitable there will be activity after logging in- that's not of interest.

Please clarify- what is of interest here is how long after logging in activity settles to near zero- or put another way how quickly the PC becomes responsive after logging in, rather than differences in time booting to lock screen.
I was looking for time to boot meaning time booting to lock screen. However I feel it is better I focus on how quickly PC becomes responsive after logging in.

Yes, your boot to lock screen is quite good for a HDD.

There's a lot going on- if that's a few minutes after logging on..

Dropbox seems odd- lots of activity, but no internet activity. I might have expected synchronisation and data transfer.

Defender might look busy because of othe activity, I suppose.

'System' is using a lot- you'd need Process Explorer (free from MS) to examine that further, and you can research
    System process uses disk
    System process high disk usage

on this forum or elsewhere to learn more.

I suggest you first return to a clean boot, and then post a screenshot of your task manager a few minutes after logging in having opened nothing else, organising any columns of interest high to low by clicking on the appropriate column header.

Establish a good base from which to work with 0 disk acitvity, then enable more to see when your problems start.
