Found something new in Build 2004 with Defragment and Optimize Drives

That's known since day one when 2004 was released. It also causes many ESENT errors and warnings.

I can now confirm this status is resetting on my 2004 PCs (all of which have SSD boot/system drives). Despite running TRIM yesterday, here's what I see this morning. Note: all drives, both SSDs and HDDs, are affected.

Thanks for brining this to everybody's attention @Compumind. Wonder how long it'll take MS to fix this?

Probably referring to the TRIM/Defrag losing it's memory of when it was done. That's been known for weeks. Lots of chatter all over about it. Second post refers to it in the Known Issues post from May 26th, and lots more after and elsewhere.

This is a real problem.
I wish that MS would be more proactive in remediation.

Let’s see how long it will take MS to resolve these issues.

Indeed.

The QA process has been totally revamped. Instead of Rings, which weren't working, we now have "Channels".
