Disable Epsom status monitor it serves no useful purpose to have it running at start-up
Disable RoboForm taskbar icon - same applies open as and when required
Disable Sandboxie - use when and as needed, no point in having it running at start up
Post it Software notes - disable - if you want a post it - open it from its icon no point in startup opening it for you

The chkdsk results mean nothing without seeing them
I am signing off. Megahertz will probably tell you how to get those results, if he thinks they are needed.

If you wish I will continue about 2000 hrs Monday - UK time

If you have an external drive at start it will slow it to a crawl as it will have to wait for USB to come up then read the drive which may be slow so it will have to read c into memory then do the same on external
This has not been my experience. I have Windows on an SSD and an 8th Gen i5. I have two external HDD drives and they work just fine once the system is up.

The best way for the poster to test this is to disconnect external drives and see if the system noticeably speeds up. If not then the externals are irrelevant.

Follow these steps to view the Check Disk (CHKDSK) results:

    1. Open the Control Panel
    2. Open Administrative Tools
    3. Select Event Viewer.
    4. In the Event Viewer expand the Windows Logs
    5. Select the Application log.
    6. Right Click the Application log and select Find
    7. Type wininit in the box and click Find Next
    8. In the middle pane click the Source/wininit line that is found.
    9. In the south pane, you will see the complete log for the latest Check Disk (CHKDSK).

Did you try a clean boot (MSconfig - disable all non M$ sevices and all startup programs)?
