I have 50 processes right now.

I have only 4 things "enabled" in startup tab.

One of your screen shots shows 48 percent memory usage and 2 percent disk.

    Nothing serious about that.

Your 5 items in startup aren't likely to be an issue.

    What anti-virus do you have?

Offhand, I'd guess you are a victim of a typically slow laptop HDD.

The Lenovo came with NO anti-virus from the factory?

Malwarebytes isn't generally called an anti-virus app.

My error: offhand, I'd guess you are a victim of a typically slow desktop 5400 RPM HDD.

So clearly there's no "fix" for this is there?

It might improve a bit-----post-housekeeping over a few days. Keep track of boot speeds.

Your processes aren't outlandish in number. You don't have much running at startup. I'll assume the deleted McAfee isn't causing issues despite how invasive it can be.

I'd make sure you have Windows Defender activated.

    I wouldn't expect wonders from a 5400 rpm drive regardless. I haven't had one in 20 years.

Your call as to whether slow boot speed is enough to make you want to change to an SSD, one way or another.

There is some chance something else is going on, but that's not a high probability.

    Hi,

it took about 45 seconds to load now, which seems okay....

Could have just been the updates

    Thank you

That's pretty good for a 5400 rpm drive. From memory, that's as good as I used to get with a 7200 rpm drive 6 or 7 years ago.
