    1) Uninstall Comodo using the applicable uninstall tool:
Comodo Uninstaller Tool Use, Internet Security, Comodo Removal Tool | COMODO

    2) Make sure Microsoft Defender is on.

    3) Open task manager > startup > post an image of the full box

    4) Upload a new V2:

    hi zbook,

I don't use Defender ... that's why I installed Comodo. I have several firewall rules on Comodo, I will not uninstall it and have to redo numerous firewall rules again, ok?

Note1: Do you guys from the Forum have this habit of deciding which Antivirus the user has to use? ... you want to interfere in the configuration of my machine, is that right?

Note2: Unless you are sure that this is what is making my boot slow ... then I uninstall Comodo, which incidentally always ran on my machine without causing any slowdown in boot!

Note3: I uninstalled KMS and so far I haven't noticed a problem with my computer ... I had to restart the computer, but it still has a slow boot, that is, it wasn't the problem of slow startup!

I downloaded the V2 Collector, ok?

    thank you

The Comodo un-installation is a trial and error step.

The V2 results were not yet uploaded into the thread.

    I'm out of ideas.

    hi zbook,

I contacted Comodo support asking for instructions to reinstall the software without losing all of my current settings, but their response time is not as fast as your response time !, so I'm still waiting for a response from Comodo support .

I will first solve the problem of uninstalling and reinstalling Comodo and as soon as it is done, I will come back with the logs you asked to continue the attempts to solve the problem of slow boot, ok ?. See you soon then!

Note: I researched on the internet about the KMS that you had informed me and found that it is related to breaking programs, or Windows, or Office ... as my Windows was with valid code, I went to test Office and actually the program informs me now that i need to activate it ... i will keep using the office with this message even as long as i can! ... thanks for the danger information!

    for now, thanks

KMS is typically pirated / cracked software in Ten Forums.
    On occasion it's malware.

    hi zbook,

    Ok, thank you for that!

I don't think that Comodo is the problem, if you want, follow the link to the video I made of the slow boot on my machine, ok?

Note: the video is 5min, I put a stopwatch next to the screen to measure the slow boot time. The slowness starts after the BIOS BOOT and before the Desktop screen.

When available please upload a new V2 directly into the thread:

How to Upload and Post Screenshots and Files at Ten Forums

When posting share links use > OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or Amazon Cloud Drive (US) (UK)

After uninstalling Comodo you can reevaluate the boot with only Microsoft AV.

    hi zbook,

OK... as soon as I uninstall Comodo, I will test Boot! ...
... I will also post the logs you requested.

NOTE: the next link I will make on Google Drive ... but, if you can, watch the video I made, it may help to see the real situation of my Boot!

    thank you

Just to jump back in here, Clamarc, you should be able to disable Comodo without uninstalling it, there should be instructions on the Comodo website/ forums.
I think you would prefer not to uninstall it if not absolutely necessary for testing purposes. Disabling would retain your settings/ configuration for when you have finished testing.
Also I would move the swap file to the SSD, choose automatically manage and system managed for size, and physically unplug all drives except the SSD while trying to troubleshoot the slow boot.
I don't see that you have yet created a new user profile and set it to default to see if it is user profile corruption causing the slow boot.
If you minimise the amount of hardware connected and reduce/ eliminate any 3rd party services, drivers and apps (use the system configuration tool, hide all Microsoft services and turn off remaining ones, as long as they are not crucial for booting) and you try a new user profile, finding the cause would be a lot easier.
If the SSD checks out hardware wise and the file system checks out then the issue is down to the motherboard, maybe it uses a non standard SATA configuration.
Are there any motherboard specific drivers (chipset/ ATA/SATA) you are missing? Is your BIOS up to date? Have you checked the motherboard makers website for updated drivers and support information?

    hi Pejole2165,

We tested these hardware disconnection tests together, remember? ... not only did we disconnect the hardware, but we also changed the positions of the hardware .. slave, master .. remember?

Regarding the SSD, you yourself verified in the BIOS image that I sent you, that the SATA inputs are correctly defined. But I do not believe that this is the problem, because the slowness has been since before buying the SSD and installing it on my computer!

Regarding Comodo, I already restarted the computer with it completely disabled and the boot remained slow!

Both BIOS and motherboard firmware are updated according to the latest versions made available by the manufacturer.

The man has already been to the Moon ... it is not possible that we will not find out what's going on with my machine!

    thank you
