If you have important data on WDC WD10EARS-00Y5B1 then backup the data > replace the drive
The drive can be used until the terminal event if data is backed up and you can tolerate performance problems (slow read / write, possible BSOD, etc.)
There is no need to wait for the terminal event > consider purchasing a 3 - 5 TB drive (many < $100 on sale).

... I will then continue trying to see if I can solve my boot problem, because the tests we did only diagnosed what I already knew, that the hd needs to be changed!

I don't know, the PC came with this program and I don't have the knowledge to know if it is part of the System or not !?
