    Battery charging

"a battery replacement should be considered once the Full charge capacity drops below 50% of the Design capacity" ----- what does this mean in light of Design capacity being shown as higher than Full Charge capacity, for which we have not yet had an explanation unless have missed it. Mine reports thus: Design Capacity 4,300 Full Charge Capacity 7,127

Personally, I always work on the basis that a battery replacement should be considered once the Full charge capacity drops below 50% of the Design capacity.

If your computer maker / battery maker has fiddled the firmware to give the impossible result you quote then I think you cannot rely on the Design capacity value or the Full charge capacity value.
    - On a little-used computer of mine for which this tampering is evident, Last full charge has been 6284 {mWHrs} with Design capacity 4300 {mWHrs}, for the last two years.
    - I would have expected some drop in Last full charge by now even though I don't use it on battery power very often.
    - When I decided to see if a tablet would be useful, I took the risk of buying a Chuwi Hi10 Pro [with a keyboard so, in effect, it's a very small laptop] but if I need a replacement for it in the future I will buy from a decent brand instead.

Sorry I cannot give you a solution. I haven't been able to give myself one either.

By the way, I think you had a mistype
"what does this mean in light of Design capacity being shown as higher than Full Charge capacity"
That situation would be normal but your results indicate that you meant to write
"what does this mean in light of Design capacity being shown as lower than Full Charge capacity"
