Thank you for all the work you have done here.
Where can I find these batch scripts?
I had them once downloaded but somehow displaced or deleted the file and now the links here are all dead.
Please advise, thank you in advance.
Paul,
The initial problem I had with the downloading turned out to be a somewhat laughable issue.
Perhaps that in a future post you can modify this.
Like most or many I am a trained and somewhat conditioned "animalis habitualis."
Websites out there typically often refer to downloadable software with the word "Download"* with an embedded link, some with a slightly different colored highlighted background, some with a hyperlink. back in the old days it was actually a beautiful functioning 3D button.
Since in your post the word "Download" is also a colored font and on top of that background highlighted, it thus appears like a active download link, being in a rush to quickly solve a problem, I like a novice, clicked on the word "download" and got no reaction.
Since in my browser hyperlinks appeared in your post also in [black] text color and on my first attempt I did click on the first entry which is not a link, I came to the rather quick conclusion these links are no good.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has stumbled across this "misunderstanding". Furthermore the same applies to filenames i.e. XYZ.bat where other sites have active links, there are no active links, but they are in blue, like all links in browsers or in a search engine returns; they too are underlined and in blue.
Adding to the initial confusion was, that many of the aforementioned are all underlined, including "upload" and "note".
Hyperlinks in Word or Excel are by default blue and underlined, and after a first-time use of the link turn into some maroon-red indicating that this is the link which has been clicked on.
Hence the initial confusion as your "Download"* is in the same color leading me to quickly conclude I've been to all these links.
"Download" this...
Other than that, great work on those batch files which I appreciate very much and had sent you my thanks.
*example but not actually a link
