The file I posted > Batch Scripts / Programs.
Quotation marks are used in other lines but absent from the following line:
rmdir /s /q %DT_Folder% >nul 2>&1 & mkdir %DT_Folder%
The above line has no quotation marks.
I have just downloaded the file from my post and they ARE there > Batch Scripts / Programs.
Okay. I just downloaded it again, and the quotation marks exist now. I ran it, and "Power_CFG" has been created on my desktop.
Matthew:
Thank you for your input on this, it is appreciated.
Hemimax:
Please try this > PowerCFG_Detailed_Analysis_Hemimax_3.bat
Just as a test, please try this > PowerCFG_Detailed_Analysis_Hemimax_4.bat
Excellent news, exactly as I suspected.
You are the ONLY one who has had a problem in the thousands of downloads, mainly because of the space in the name. Have you ever had any OS problems that you couldn't understand or diagnose in the past? I have seen problems on very rare occasions in the past on clients machines for things like Software downloads etc.
Seems like more would have tried that once spaces were allowed in filenames.
Only when W7 would truncate it to richar usually in dos and file explorer, and display it as normal elsewhere.
