    Hello @Hemimax,

I do have some doc folders where I edited the mkdir so they would sync to onedrive, don't know if that is relevant.

Are you doing ANYTHING with the Desktop location at all?

I just had a quick look at the TWO files you mentioned and BOTH the files you are talking about have a PowerShell command in them. Just a thought!

Did the PowerCFG_Detailed_Analysis.bat output a Power_CFG folder on the Desktop, and if it did, was there ANYTHING in it?

Can you please run the below . . .

    Elevated CMD Prompt:

    Code:

    Powershell -command "& "Get-winevent -FilterHashTable @{logname='Application'; id='1001'} ^| ?{$_.providername -match 'wininit'} ^| select-object -first 1 ^| fl timecreated, message
    Code:

    PowerShell powercfg -GetActiveScheme

    Elevated PowerShell Prompt:

    Code:

    Get-winevent -FilterHashTable @{logname='Application'; id='1001'} | ?{$_.providername -match 'wininit'} | select-object -first 1 | fl timecreated, message
    Code:

    powercfg -GetActiveScheme

That command should have been run in an Elevated CMD Prompt, NOT an Elevated PowerShell Prompt, as per my previous post.

ALL my Scripts run in an Elevated CMD Prompt, NOT an Elevated PowerShell Prompt.

As per my previous post, there are 2 commands to run in an Elevated CMD Prompt, and 2 commands to run in an Elevated PowerShell Prompt.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello @Hemimax,

Please right-click the PowerCFG_Detailed_Analysis.bat file and select Run as Administrator using the CMD Prompt and NOT the PowerShell Prompt.

If you double-click ANY of my Batch files, they are automatically Elevated to Run as Administrator.

    Have you tried that?

    Hello @Hemimax,

You are running it from the Downloads folder.

Can you please COPY the PowerCFG_Detailed_Analysis.bat file to the Desktop and run it.

Hm, that space between Richard and Maxx may have something to do with the problem...Ususally usernames consist only of one word...
