Thanks Matthew, it is appreciated. I have incorporated the code into the original file below for @Hemimax. I will also test it out to see if it is compatible cross-platform at some stage.

EDIT:

The adapted code RUNS in Win 7 but NOT in Win Vista. To be honest, I am NOT concerned about Win Vista any more now anyway.

Hi Paul, sorry still same result, odd thing is it creates several folders on my desktop (Max > Desktop > Power_CFG) last one being empty.
Another strange thing is back in W7 when I had this user name (Richard Max) it would truncate it to "Richar" in the command windows but that all stopped with W10. This OS I have now is fresh W10 install I did back in July/2021 and I have not modified very much of it.
