Slow explorer, slow program launchs, slow internet

For some reason lately, I have had a terrible time with programs not opening very fast.
Its like the entire PC is lagging terrible.
When checking resources , all seem fine and nothing seems to be laggy.
After restarting it seems fine for a while. But when programs try to access the internet, discord/steam etc, it takes a while to get a connection.
This makes me think that its internet related.
Also on one start it gave me a waiting for netsh.exe . Not sure if that is related but its worth a shot.
I do run some background services, carbonite, playon, plex.
Malwarebytes, windows defender.

I tried an update on Malwarebytes. And also a few programs.
Will try that if this doesnt work.
Also did another restart. So far its working, not sure why now.

Yes that is one of the first things I did, Usually pretty low demands for my system.
CPU runs about 4% when checked last,
I updated my specs.

First thing I thought was perhaps a memory leak of some kind. or possibly a HDD problem.
all my hdd are at 100% health. and running fine. Except for the M.2 drive runs hotter then others, not unusual.

I temporarly closed malwarebytes to see if that is the issue.

Do you have similar problems in Safe Mode?

I have not tried on Safe mode, and it does not happen all the time.
Problem is I have not found the source of the issue. And it doesnt resolve itself until a restart.

C drive has almost 600 GB and less than half full. It is used for mostly windows and a few heavy load programs.

Internet speed as of this post is 529 mbps/ 22 mbps.

Speed is not the issue in hardware or internet speed.
Its looking like software based .. somewhere...


The main thing that happens is system wide lagging out, explorer, programs, internet lags out.. On startup I have seen it try to reconnect some services (discord, steam etc) like it has issues with internet, even though my home internet is fine.

Its looking more and more like malwarebytes could be part of the issue, going to run it off for a while and see if it helps.

Thanks for the tip of startup programs, I usually keep those pretty clean.
Odd how I seen a unknown bat file on startup, as well as some unknown program ( Never said title).
Closed these and disabled Malwarebytes for now.
I know this is a threat to malware, and will enable after a few days of testing.
