    DISM Problems? Read This

    Gentlemen,
Having problems using DISM in W-10?
    I did
Then I discovered that dism.exe in system32 has 0 [zero] Kb.
This is in two laptops with OEM W-10 ver 10.0.18363.657
Yet, in one that was upgraded to W-10 from W-7, the file was present. Obviously with a file number for W-7.
    Cheers.

Update the specs in the "My Computer" section:

System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums
In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.
System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    5) sfc /scannow
    6) chkdsk /scan

    7) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

Well, if Dism.exe on your machines was 0 kb then I suggest something went wrong on install (maybe bad install media?).
On my system running Windows 10 Pro 1903 Dism.exe is in the following 4 locations :
    "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Dism.exe"
    "C:\Windows\WinSxS\wow64_microsoft-windows-d..ervicing-management_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.18362.1_none_3b5bbd65bf459c21\Dism.exe"
    "C:\Windows\System32\Dism.exe"
    "C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-d..ervicing-management_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.18362.1_none_310713138ae4da26\Dism.exe"
And have the following properties :

This is from a clean install not an upgrade and I'm pretty sure that during an upgrade the Dism.exe app should match the version of Win10 upgraded to.
