reagentc command - output not what I was expecting

    When I run reagentc /info, I get

    reagentc /info
REAGENTC.EXE: A target Windows installation must be specified.

If I specify a target then I get this:

    reagentc /info /target c:\windows
Windows Recovery Environment (Windows RE) and system reset configuration
    Information:

    Windows RE status: Disabled
    Windows RE location:
Boot Configuration Data (BCD) identifier: 3b77bd07-e7cb-11e9-b6d5-cc1a1ad1e57d
    Recovery image location:
    Recovery image index: 0
    Custom image location:
    Custom image index: 0

    REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful.

First, I shouldn't have to specify a target. 2nd, why is it disabled, it never was before, though I suspect I may have caused this by playing around trying to get Macrium Reflect as a bootable selection when I reboot. Been using BCDedit, UEFUedit, BootIce and Macrium so I may have caused this. If so, what is wrong and how do I fix it.

Is it supposed to be in C:\Windows\Recovery? Can I tell reagentc where it actually is?

    Okay, I did the following:

    Code:
    C:\Users\ztruk>REAGENTC.EXE /setreimage /path C:\Windows\System32\Recovery
    Directory set to: \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition4\Windows\System32\Recovery

    REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful.

    C:\Users\ztruk>reagentc /info
Windows Recovery Environment (Windows RE) and system reset configuration
    Information:

        Windows RE status: Disabled
        Windows RE location:
Boot Configuration Data (BCD) identifier: 3b77bd07-e7cb-11e9-b6d5-cc1a1ad1e57d
        Recovery image location:
        Recovery image index: 0
        Custom image location:
        Custom image index: 0

    REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful.

    C:\Users\ztruk>reagentc /enable
    REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful.

    C:\Users\ztruk>reagentc /info
Windows Recovery Environment (Windows RE) and system reset configuration
    Information:

        Windows RE status: Enabled
        Windows RE location: \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition4\Recovery\WindowsRE
Boot Configuration Data (BCD) identifier: 6f4cbffc-4fad-11ea-bc87-448a5b06acdb
        Recovery image location:
        Recovery image index: 0
        Custom image location:
        Custom image index: 0

    REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful.
so it looks like that's fixed.

    How do I test it?

Nope, doesn't do anything, normal boot.

Booted to Safe Mode then Shift Restart works as it should.

Not much more can be done if reagentc /info shows an active recovery environment:

    Code:
    C:\Windows\system32>reagentc /info
Windows Recovery Environment (Windows RE) and system reset configuration
    Information:

        Windows RE status: Enabled
        Windows RE location: \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk3\partition4\Recovery\WindowsRE
Boot Configuration Data (BCD) identifier: b61ae84c-4fa7-11ea-af4c-d0c5d3fde3d6
        Recovery image location:
        Recovery image index: 0
        Custom image location:
        Custom image index: 0

    REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful.

Wonder why it works in Safe Mode but not normal boot? I have been messing with the BCD trying to get a working Macrium boot partition, wonder if that has anything to do with it. I've added and removed the Boot menu entry for Macrium Rescue twice now. Didn't work with or without that Boot menu entry.

What does reagentc /info look like for you?
