    That's what I use for my daily Windows 10 drive, so it should be fine to use for this.

    Alright then thanks brink & golden. It looks like the nvme should be able to handle it without any worries basically, unless something happens to corrupt the data which could prove to difficult to recover.

    If you keep updated backups on separate data disks, it should hopefully never be an issue.

    Yep, I've got a spare usb 3 hdd to put them on. It hits about 188mbps transfers, which is about the same as my 5TB internal HDD. Interestingly, I saw the internal boost to 1.3gbps but then it got throttled back down. It's listed under my hw specs.
