Lock screen pops up when pressing sleep mode

    hello,

I have updated all drivers and latest NVIDIA driver as well! I reported this 1000 times and I am a bit frustrated

    please watch

now it doesn't last AS LONG as the video shows (older update), however, you click sleep (power button), lock screen pops up, then sleep. NOT intended behaviour.

on my work DELL, when you click sleep, it fades a bit then goes to sleep. although not on the same win10 latest release and not having a NVIDIA card as well.

    thank you!

I've watched your video on dropbox. Well, it sucks but it doesn't last long. Are you sure that your drivers updated in the right way?

Have you tried disabling lock screen? See Enable or Disable Lock Screen in Windows 10 .

No. I mean just turn it off but if you want to keep it then that's your choice. Maybe the next Windows Update will fix the issue.
    Good luck.

interestingly, if you do win + L so put the PC in lock screen and THEN click sleep button, then the computer goes on to sleep properly, without strange flases, black screen > sleep.

    But the question is. WHY

    Hello @gabgab,

    Welcome to TenForums!

Can you please perform the following [ this checks for ANY Problem Device Errors ] . . .

[1] Goto this TenForums link => Batch Scripts / Programs.
[2] Goto the heading Find ANY Problem Devices . . .
[3] Download and Run the .bat file [ Find_ANY_Problem_Devices.bat ].

If there are ANY errors it will create a Prob_Devices.txt file on the Desktop!

    I hope this helps!
