Log in required after inactivity - can time interval be lenghtened

    Log in required after inactivity - can time interval be lenghtened


    I'm new to Win 10 Home and notice that after periods of inactivity I must first click out of a screen picture and next log in again . Wondering why this is happening and if the time period can be lengthened?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    You can make a custom power plan in Settings, System, Power and Sleep...

    Thanks dmholt57 for the response and guidance. Reset power and sleep settings to high performance and desired screen off and power off.
