CPU usage of system tray clock

Still getting over the teething troubles of upgrading from Windows 7...

I opened the Task Manager and found the System Tray clock was using 14% of the CPU - permanently. ( I have also installed White Tiger T-Clock Redux which is running alongside this.) I stopped T-Clock, killed the System Tray Clock process then restarted T-Clock and everything seems to be working properly, and there is no process taking more than 1% of CPU.

Is there a way of disabling the System Tray clock process so it doesn't start and take all the CPU power when I restart Windows 10?

What does your cpu usage look like for the clock with the extra programs: White Tiger T-Clock Redux disabled?

Thanks for the response. I'll turn off the automatic start on T-Clock, restart the computer and see what happens.

In the meantime here is the Task Manager screen immediately after starting Windows 10, and after stopping System Tray Clock Utility for Windows x64 Editions. You can see the T-Clock Redux application in the screen dump using 0%.

could use a program called autoruns and after loading it up. look for said process and disabled it.

Thanks dskiller, I think using autoruns might have solved the problem. The utility taking all the CPU seems to be the previous version of T-Clock which was fine for Windows 7 but won't run on Windows 10. It seems the previous version was still on the system with a link in my startup folder, so I suppose it was driving the system crazy trying to run this out-of-date programme.
