I have an Hitachi 1TB external HDD, it is now 15 years old, been in daily use since new. HD Sentinal has been telling me for a year that it only has 6 days of life expectancy left. 120,000 + power on hours, 163 re allocated sectors, still in daily use as a backup drive (1 of 3), it has no problems reading/ writing, is still silent.
As I said, monitor drives that show re allocated sectors, if the number increases significantly each time the drive is used, then yes it's best to prepare for it to die soon, otherwise don't be too panicked, the re allocation of sectors is by design.

Drive Now in External Enclosure, HD Tune Health status as of now, next error scan that probably will take a while to run, but will get it done asap

Then will run Seatools Long Generic Test later on this Drive after HD tune requested scans are done
