Budget gaming PC, crashing regularly

    My suggestion, start from scratch. Wipe the machine entirely and reinstall Windows BUT don't let windows install your drivers. Obtain them from HP's website and for the graphics, get them from Nvidia as they will be much more tailored for Windows than the ones microsoft will push.

    If you see in device manager that the driver for the graphics has been installed, delete it and immediately install the one from Nvidia. If heat isn't an issue, its more than likely driver instability.

    Worst case, memory but that would have been way more apparent earlier.

    For temperature and other hardware monitor I use Open Hardware Monitor
    Don't need to be installed. Extract and run. You can set to run on windows start and configure what to show on the task bar and gadget.

    Thanks all who have contributed to this thread, very much appreciate your help.
    I have started a new thread under the BSOD as suggested by Golden and likewise getting some good advice.
