    Unable to boot system

I accidentally changed bios from legacy to efi and now my PC will not boot. It hangs at the Asus splash screen. Pressing del, f8 or f2 do nothing. I can't reinstall windows because I can't get into the bios . How do I either get my system to boot into the bios setup or reinstall windows from the Windows 10 disc.

Windows boot to fast for you to catch the bios so when windows starts oress the reset boot not power then start hitting F2 the second it reboots and keep on hitting it. Failing that pull the power from the hd so it cant boot

I've tried that. No dice. Do I need to clear the bios by jumping the clrtz pins and if so, after unplugging the computer, do I leave the connector on the 2 pins and power back on the system? Would removing the cmos battery do it?

try to disconnect the system couple of times (switch on the back). Unplug the mains and wait 15 minutes. Plug it back, it should boot into BIOS

Edit: also, disconnect Sata cable from your drive should enable you to boot into BIOS. Revert any changes, reconnect SATA cable and restart system.

Thanks very much for all who replied. I guess I panicked. All that was necessary was to move the jumper from CLRTZ pins 1 & 2 to pins 2 & 3 for about 5 seconds and then return the jumper to pins 1 & 2. I'm back in action and thanks again. This forum has helped me quite a few times.
