    sfc /scannow found corrupt files

    Good evening,

How to fix corrupt files that could not be repaired with sfc tool?
I executed DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and gave me this error: "Error 0x800f081f, The source files could not be found.

Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature…"
After, I followed this guide: How to fix DISM 0x800f081f Error in Windows 10/8 (Solved) - wintips.org - Windows Tips & How-tos, but no luck.

    How to fix this completely?

    Kind regards, ItzGame.

Hello ItzGame, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you like, a repair install of Windows 10 should fix this without losing anything.

Hi Brink, thanks for the quick reply, and nice to meet you. Is there any tool that repairs it quickly? Sorry I'm noob.

Edit: I can provide you the CBS.log file.

The other methods including log uploading and download, analysis, etc. take longer.

If you can make me a favor, I'd like to fix it by uploading log files and fixing it manually.

It's most often better to just do the quick repair install to fix it without loosing anything than going through the long and complicated diagnostics only to most likely have to repair install anyways.

The log analysis can take significant time.
They are typically trial and error steps.
A solution may not be found.

In contrast an in place upgrade repair is the most efficient and effective method to fix problems in the component store.

Thank you both very much for your replies. I'll do the place upgrade now.

Before doing so, as a matter of routine, and given the corruption, check your disk:

E.g. HDTune (free) Health and Error scan tabs
and then from an admin command or Powershell prompt run
    chkdsk c: /scan
(this checks your file system only - so a fix needed if problems reported).

Do you mean I can fix it without repairing my system with an In-place Upgrade with Media Creation Tool?

    - - - Updated - - -

    Btw, I have sfcdetails.txt.

    - - - Updated - - -

I used the following command to view corrupted files: findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"

    Is it correct?
